Reflection is the third step of every Teyro lesson. After you learn an idea and apply it, you put it in your own words. It takes under a minute, and it is the quickest honest test of whether you understood something or only recognised it. Anything you cannot explain yet is worth another look before you move on.

Every Teyro lesson has four steps: Learn, Apply, Reflect, Deepen. Reflect is the short pause after practice where you put the idea in your own words — what it is, when you would use it, what tripped you up.
Because recognising an idea and understanding it feel the same from the inside. Clicking the right answer can come from pattern-matching; explaining why it is right cannot. Reflection is a quick check that catches the difference while it is cheap to fix.
It also helps later. Ideas you have explained once are easier to pull back up than ideas you only saw.
